Ductless Mini-Split Repair, Every Major Brand

A ductless mini-split is not a smaller version of central AC. It is a completely different type of system. One outdoor compressor connects to one or more indoor heads through refrigerant lines routed through a small wall opening. Each indoor head cools its own room independently with separate temperature control. In Henderson, mini-splits are common in garages, casitas, ADUs, room additions, and spaces where central HVAC does not reach. When these systems fail, the repair process is different from standard central AC repair because the components, diagnostics, and access points are all unique.

We regularly repair clogged condensate drain lines causing water leaks from indoor heads, low refrigerant issues from flare connection leaks, failed capacitors, bad control boards, dirty coils and filters, failed thermistors, and communication wiring problems between indoor and outdoor units. The U.S. Department of Energy provides a detailed overview of how ductless mini-split systems operate and the maintenance required to keep them running efficiently.
