What Faucet Replacement Involves

Faucet replacement disconnects the old faucet from the hot and cold supply lines and connects the new one. That sounds simple, but it also involves inspecting and often replacing the shutoff valves, swapping out old supply hoses, and making sure the new faucet’s mounting holes and supply connections line up with the sink or countertop.

We deal with the full scope under the sink. We shut off water, disconnect the old faucet, check the condition of the shutoff valves (corroded ones get replaced on the spot), install the new faucet with fresh supply lines, and test for leaks. Las Vegas homes built in the 1990s and 2000s commonly have original brass or plastic shutoff valves that are one turn away from breaking. We catch those before they become an emergency.
